The goal of this project is to provide patients with a simple and inexpensive way to access medical notes, recorded by their doctors, using mobile phones. We refer to medical notes as voice recordings of medical information and guidelines to educate patients about their ailments or treatment. For doctors and other healthcare providers, our system allows common medical advice and guidelines to be stored in a personal library that can be later prescribed to patients when required. Using a simple SMS interface, doctors and healthcare providers can share a single recording from the library with as many patients as desired. We believe that our system can improve not only patient care, but also increase productivity at clinics by saving time spent on individual patients.
